I got this for my dad for his birthday last month and I could tell although he was hiding it. He was super excited for it. I'm very handy so I was going to build it for him, but he was so excited. He could not wait and built it that night by himself. I was very surprised because he is not good with his hands so the fact that he built it perfectly means anyone should be able to assemble it.

He said it was very easy to assemble, even by himself putting everything in his place was easy for him. 

He loves cooking on it and he is very happy that it came with a lid, which is what I was going for. I think you always need to get one that comes with a lid.

He has already cooked on it time and time again, you name it, chicken, steaks, hamburgers, fried rice, literally everything he has cooked already and he loves it.

I already have recommended this and haven't even cooked on it yet. Directions are easy to follow. I can't wait to actually get to cook on it and be able to use it. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be but that's okay plenty of room with the shelves!!

Great price good unit easy set up

Love using this. I was a little afraid of the maintenance of it, but it is not bad at all

Everything I expected

This is such a nice grill! My son put it together. It took him about 30 minutes and he said it was easy to assemble. I seasoned it and we were cooking on it a few hours later. We have cooked steak, ribs, pork chops, %26 chicken %26 it was all so good. If we have storms and the power goes out, I'm not worried about cooking  because you can cook most anything on the blackstone grill. I made a good decision to purchase this grill. It is great quality

High quality!

Walmart pickup was quick and easy, which made the overall experience even better. The grill assembly instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. There were quite a lot of screws and pieces, but with a little patience, I was able to put everything together in about an hour.

The first time using the grill took a bit of getting used to, but after properly prepping the cast iron, it has been very easy to use. The food comes out delicious, and I've noticed that cooking time is faster than expected. I especially love the four different temperature settings on the cast iron grill—it makes it easy to cook a variety of foods at the same time.

Buy the Grill

Grill came preseasoned but did it anyway. I've used it several times just in the past week and is awesome. Heats surface  completely edge to edge as it claims. I purchased the 4 zone 36” unit and highly recommend it. Going smaller would be tough if cooking with friends. I can easily cook with two zones if I want or go big. Easy to clean just heat up, squirt water to loosen particles, scrub surface and push to drain slot that's in the back, oil, and cover. Ready for the next time.

I am a 69 year old lady, I never assemble products.  I assembled this by myself in 3 hours.  The only issue I had was they sent 3 Right shelf brackets and 1 Left shelf brackets, Blackstone is sending me another left shelf brackets.  This was a gift for my husband and he was very happy with it.  We seasoned the grill, and we cooked fajitas for 20 people, this griddle made it so easy to cook a lot of fajitas and a lot tortillas and grill the onions and peppers.  Can't wait to use it again.

Fun cooker!

Found this on sale for a great price. You can really see and feel the quality compared to budget grills. only issue i had was a manufacturer defect in one of the shelves, it was missing the threaded insert. emailed Blackstone directly and they mailed one out next day. Other than that make sure you season the griddle and have fun

worth the money

the lid  isn't attached but it is a big griddle and by saving over a 100$ by going with the lid not attached it is worth it . It works just as good as the higher priced blackstones just doesn't have an attached lid. the lid is easy to take off and it attaches to the back of the grill the sides fold down when not in use and has your handle hangers on both sides a shelf underneath to store your cooking utensils. all in all it's a good griddle  for 300 $

I was really excited to get this Blackstone, but honestly it was a pretty disappointing experience. When I opened it up, there were already scratches on the grill surface, which is not what you expect from something brand new. It made it feel used or poorly handled before it even got to me.

On top of that, the skews  were missing from the package, which was really inconvenient since that was part of why I chose this setup in the first place. Having missing pieces right out of the box just adds extra hassle trying to figure out replacements or returns.

The grill itself does look nice overall, but it's been frustrating dealing with missing parts and trying to find screws that actually fit just to get everything set up properly.

For the price, I expected better quality control and a complete product. Definitely frustrating.
