Very durable. It grips onto the carpet very well. I suggest when you unroll it to place some semi-heavy objects on the corners to flatten the mat. Takes almost 24 hours to get it to mold straight.

This is made of a good sturdy plastic. Be a little careful when unrolling it, because it has knob like grips on the bottom to grab on to the carpet. It wasn't difficult to unroll but it does require to lay out in the open for a little while to flatten out. It grips the carpet well, and my chair moves smoothly around on it. Overall pleased with the purchase, and works as expected.

Happy with this purchase.

Exact size for a standard desk chair.  It is not flimsy and cannot easily bend or break. As other comments mentioned it does take a while for the mat to unroll. Instructions were included for in packaging.  After 1 day I could place my desk chair on the mat. After 1 week it lay perfectly flat.  There are minor indentations when the chair has been on the mat for an extended period of time, but the indentations eventually disappear when the weight has been removed. Also, a plastic smell is present when in packaging, but that also soon dissipates.

Accurate Depiction of Product

The chair mat was a low cost item. The material is relatively thin and wheel indentations are quite noticeable to the point that I ordered and installed much larger wheels on my chair to compensate for the lack of thickness.  The price was reasonable for the quality received. This is not a good choice for a high pile carpet

Low price, not the best quality.

The mat is fine but WARNING here, if you do not be "CAUTIOUS" in putting it down, it will stick you and make you bleed.

Watch out for the SHARP points!

The material of the mat is way too thin.  I would have NEVER Bought it if I would have known this before.

It should not be mailed rolled up.
It has been 2 weeks and it has not flattened out even with warm temp.

Quick ship and generous sizing. Came tightly rolled up in a long box that was approx 12” x 12” square and 48” long.  Raining for several days so laid it out  on the LR carpet and placed a heavy executive desk chair on it to flatten it out.  2 days later still not completely flat and now it had chair wheel indentations without anyone having sat in the chair.  It might work well on no pile commercial office carpet without padding but doesn't do well on residential carpet with padding. Super sharp plastic spikes underneath made it impossible to roll up enough to get back in box so returned it unrolled with the box.

Flash furniture 45” x 53” Carpet Chair Mat with Li

I purchased this chair mat to replace a mat I'd had in place for 10  years that had developed several cracks and was showing signs of wear. Pros for the new mat - Made in USA - love that. Good instructions, I put the box in direct sunlight to warm up the mat, and after that, it unrolled and flattened nicely. The mat didn't have any plastic smell - that was also nice.  But the cons... We have commercial carpet in the office with very low pile, but this mat was too soft and my chair wheels would sink and create divots in the mat such that the chair would not roll. My previous mat was very stiff and never had that problem. But the worst... The mat creates a lot of static. I have some electronics that worked before the mat was in place and they are all now fried.  I'm returning this mat.
