Well lets start with these are great and easy to install. If you are needing a quick but proficient cover to a window these worked great. I learned at the ends you can create a design to give it that "edge" it needs seeing how they are temp. curtains.

It keeps light out pretty well to be thick paper made. Once hung the folds start to straighten out up top but in the area of where you fold and place clips it will remain folded. I buy these mainly for our mud room because my dog likes to jump on the door tearing up several blinds.

These havent gotten torn up so easily. I bought one about six months ago and it finally started ripping on the edges so I bought another. I have had the newest one over a month and still is holding on strong.  The hold is an adhesive strip of tape  and I made sure to clean area before placing and its held on so strong I had to use  srrapper to remove the old one.

Over all it is a great secondary option and like me a good permant solution for a smaller room. Also, I will add it has a good cover up. I cant see anything when looking in through the back yard

Quick fix or long term?

The perfect blackout shade that really keeps the room dark! At a value you can’t beat. Easy install. It was too wide for my window but easy cutting it with scissors to fit the length and you can’t even tell it wasn’t the exact right size. You don’t even have to cut perfectly, just as best you can and you’re good to go. Sticks well. Get this! Perfect and affordable.

I absolutely recommend these for night shift workers. I’ve tried Eclipse “blackout” curtains and they still let light show through them. These blinds are perfect!

I removed my normal blinds and adhered the top of the paper blinds on the window frame. Instead of cutting them to fit horizontally, I smoothed them over the window until I reached the bottom and trimmed the excess on the bottom only. I used painters tape to go around the borders and repeated this process with a second set of blinds on top. No more light peeking through the window!

The first time I did this was with office and double-sided tape because it’s all I had at the time. It lasted a few months then began peeling at the top, letting light through. I recommend ensuring the top is taped well with painters tape to assist the adhesive.
Also, overlap is good so light doesn’t peek through the sides. My normal blinds still fit nicely over these too.

True blackout

these are a great inexpensive way to get window coverings, but the clips that they send for holding it up or not strong enough they keep popping off so you have to always go back and re-raise the shade and re-clip it so I'm going to have to go buy some strong laundry clips to get it to stay up.

Super easy installation. Value is poor, if they cost $3 for the pair (not the $10 retail) the value would be excellent. They are pleated construction paper single layer and allow a fair amount of light in as they are not thick enough to be true blackout. They also absorb and reradiate a lot of heat.

Don’t get me wrong it does block out the light, but same day it’s already starting to fall off. I know it’s not my forever blinds, but we just moved. I needed something fast and easy since my baby will only nap in a dark room and hubby works nights so he sleeps during the day. Don’t expect these to last long, you get what you paid for. It’s definitely temporary until I can find my prefect blind or curtain.

Temporary

Installs easy. but its a pain in the but close up. It was cheap, and in this case you get what you pay for. Very flimsy and no hard part at bottom to make it easier to close.

Easy to install, but cheaply made, hard to close

i only needed 2 shades. after receiving only 1 shade that was 72 inches, as described, and had to return the one that was too short.. the next one i purchased was even shorter. by about 6 inches. the 3rd one i decided to go myself into the store thinking maybe it would make a difference. no. the 3rd panel was 2 inches too short. so after all this i have only one panel that fits. yes i was reimbursed but this has been frustrating, time consuming, and i can't recommend to anyone.

Simple design, bought as a temporary fix, but just not worth the time to put up.  Will be returning the 3 of the 5 shades purchased!  The tape placed on shade did not hold , held for only a few days and then fell off window.  then add in the frustration to fold up paper, place clip to hold open daily just to enjoy some sunlight.  Might be useful if you are long term covering an area, just make sure to staple or hang better than the tape on the shade!
