Well lets start with these are great and easy to install. If you are needing a quick but proficient cover to a window these worked great. I learned at the ends you can create a design to give it that "edge" it needs seeing how they are temp. curtains.

It keeps light out pretty well to be thick paper made. Once hung the folds start to straighten out up top but in the area of where you fold and place clips it will remain folded. I buy these mainly for our mud room because my dog likes to jump on the door tearing up several blinds.

These havent gotten torn up so easily. I bought one about six months ago and it finally started ripping on the edges so I bought another. I have had the newest one over a month and still is holding on strong.  The hold is an adhesive strip of tape  and I made sure to clean area before placing and its held on so strong I had to use  srrapper to remove the old one.

Over all it is a great secondary option and like me a good permant solution for a smaller room. Also, I will add it has a good cover up. I cant see anything when looking in through the back yard

WOW.  I have spent many $ on blackout blinds, curtains.  I work nights, sleep days.  I ordered this shade "kind of a joke" due to the price.  But, I will tell you, somehow NOT ONE BIT OF LIGHT GETS THROUGH THIS PAPAER BLIND.  It stays attractive as long as you are not moving it daily, and keep it in one place.

I originally bought 2 for my kitchen windows and ended up buying one for every single window in my apartment! The adhesive is very strong they stick very well. %26 most importantly they completely black out ALL sunlight! Even in the middle of the day it looks like midnight inside my apartment bc it's so dark. The only thing I will say is be careful for cuts when handling them bc they are paper. Super satisfied w this product

The best $5 you can spend!

With recent heatwave, bought these blackout shades for all the windows in my apartment. have used them in the past. they dramatically keep room cooler and AC doesn't work that hard. easy to cut and install. and, as we get closer to Fall, will easily take down. can't beat the price. for me, these are a must when heat is extreme.

Reduces heat from Sun

It is worth it to make them custom fit and trim 1/2 an inch off of one side , which is easy since they are paper, and put that adhesive tucked away inside of the windowsill. Don't pit the adhesive on the frame. It makes ALL the difference to make custom. I slept like a baby with those and black out curtains in front of them. (Bought the black ones)

Very clean look

We use these for our new homes so we can take our time with window treatments.  We have bought many over the years and even purchased some for my son's new house.  Both light filtering and blackout are as advertised.  They look great from outside too! We love them!

Great idea all around

Easy to put up. Just cut to fit, peel and stick. Makes the room very dark. Almost no light comes through. The only drawback is that you'll want to leave them closed. Since it's basically construction paper, it's not durable enough to open and close on a regular basis.

I bought these for my shed to help keep it cooler and it seems to be helping.

Super easy installation. Value is poor, if they cost $3 for the pair (not the $10 retail) the value would be excellent. They are pleated construction paper single layer and allow a fair amount of light in as they are not thick enough to be true blackout. They also absorb and reradiate a lot of heat.

i only needed 2 shades. after receiving only 1 shade that was 72 inches, as described, and had to return the one that was too short.. the next one i purchased was even shorter. by about 6 inches. the 3rd one i decided to go myself into the store thinking maybe it would make a difference. no. the 3rd panel was 2 inches too short. so after all this i have only one panel that fits. yes i was reimbursed but this has been frustrating, time consuming, and i can't recommend to anyone.
