The set comes with 75 plastic refills of assorted colors. The pen uses plastic strand sticks and heats it up to allow him to create all kinds of small 3D creation such as making art, designing wearable items, and building models! The creative possibilities are limitless and it keeps him busy for hours on end. The pen is perfect for all ages. I highly recommend!

My son enjoys playing with it day and night and had created many beautiful things just from this one pen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nine year old was so excited to get this doodle pen! She is a huge drawer/crafter/loves doing any type of activity like this. The pen was a little hard to use at first but the more you use it the more you get used to it. She's made a couple small images so far with it and plans on doing more. Actually, my husband even used it to go around our golf flag sticks in our putting green to hold the flags up from falling. So this definitely has multiple uses not just for the young but also for the old!

After a quick read through the manual I found the best technique and went to town. This is so fun and you can make cute little projects. Pictures are from where my 6 year old was making a box. This item should be used with adult supervision as the pen tip does get hot. The material cools almost immediately leaving it easy to layer your project without waiting any extended amount of time. I would definitely recommend!

It is extremely easy to load and unload. The fact that it has two speeds and multiple temperature settings is incredible! I started with simply drawing 2D shapes and letters on paper and on the first day I made the Eiffel Tower! I shared a picture of my creation. If this is only the first day I can't even imagine what else I can do with it! My daughter has been making wonderfully creative earrings and I'm going to start finding plastic things with cracks that I can mend! I love this thing and can't wait to keep creating with it!

Supervision is a must for sure! I like that it's a starter kit to help you begin making imaginations come to life! i would definitely recommend for young adults as well because using to craft unique things and or fix things become limitless. It's fairly a decent price and i would definitely recommend as a gift for all ages!

The 3doodler is a great activity for anyone who enjoys drawling or creating homemade crafts. My daughter who is a teen loves this 3doodler ,she loves creating objects that have the 3d look to it. Sadly we could not create anything stand up like the Eiffel tower it takes alot of practice and a good steady hand. We still really enjoy the 3doodler very much.The pen itself is really easy to clean and load the refills.The kit comes with a guide that teaches you how to create objects that are 3 d .Overall I would say this is a great item for any craft lovers .I would highly recommend this 3doodler create + kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great idea for older kids to adults to use ! It is base on the premise that you are 3D creating with a pen by layering the liquid string to create structures. It comes with the solid plastic sticks to load into the pen .

Cute idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doodler is just that, a doodle machine. I do art for a living and this just doesn't do it for me. As far as the item itself, it's sturdy enough and does everything it claims to do. You can, with a little patience, learn to draw simple shapes in the air and fill them in a bit. You can work flat to build shapes like walls and melt anchor points together to stand them up into 3D objects. But it's still pretty crude and not something I feel compelled to show off. 

Maybe I'm a little old to find it fascinating because I got bored and wanted the plasting stick to hurry up and melt out so I could clean up and be done. I really wanted to like it but I just couldn't muster up enthusiasm. Maybe in a few years as the technology advances I'll try again but right now 2D doodling is fine for me.
