Great product, but you need to sell refills for the adhesive strips. It's bad for the planet that we have to buy a fresh pack of the plastic decorating clips in order to get more adhesive strips. If you have to charge a premium for the adhesive, go ahead - just don't make us throw away the plastic clips after every use.

Great Item But 3M Needs to Sell Refill Strips

I love using these clear decoration clips for mini lights in my kids' rooms, and for temporary holiday lighting around the house, but you can't buy just replacement strips for these tiny clear clips! PLEASE HELP! The clips are totally reuseable, and I'm a big recycle advocate and don't want to get rid of them simply because I'm out of strips! These are the BEST, but the value is diminished without the option for just purchasing clear replacement strips....

I love this product. I used to hang mother's Christmas lights above the bar every year. My issue that is every year I try to find refills and I can't. I couldn't even find them on your site this year. The clips are all on the cord ready to go, I just need refills.  I still have to buy a new pack every year and throw out the plastics because all I need is the refill.

Need decorative clip refills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these to hang lights in my Windows for a couple of years now.  The first year I left them on, all year.  Last year I removed them and saved the plastic clips in the hopes of buying refill adhesive this year and possibly one new package of clips.  Disappointed that you can't get refills.  Seems like a huge waste.  Wonder how many sea turtles these things kill....  I'll be finding a new method for the lights this year.

No refill strips???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these Decorator Clips for quick and easy holiday decor. But...I need replacement strips! The clips are in perfectly great shape and I hate to by all new clips just to get new strips. Please consider selling replacement strips for this product!

Please Provide Replacement Strips!

I have used command strips for many years and have always had good luck with them, until now.  I am very disappointed with the current product.  I bought a new package to hang Christmas lights and garland in my kitchen, went over the molding with rubbing alcohol and followed the steps for installing the clips.. Older clips that I had from last year stuck well. The new clips I bought didn't stick well at all.  Lights kept falling down. I used a combination of mini-clips and large clips at corners.  I am convinced it is the new clips, as old clips are not a problem at all.  Very disappointed with the current quality of the product, as it is not as good as it used to be.

Waste of money - quality is not the same

Used to love this product and used them every year to hang string lights. Now it appears that they have changed the adhesive strips and they do not work AT ALL. I bought two brand new packs from different stores and they both were exactly the same. They aren't even strong enough to withstand the lights being attached to the clip, let alone hold the lights up. One poke of a finger and the clips detach from the wall, even when following all of their recommended steps. Not sure what to use now that I no longer trust this product.

No Longer Works

Part # 17026CLR-ES. The wall side adhesive is very weak. I'm pretty sure you could remove it from a kleenex with absolutely no damage. They were a waste of my money. Other Command products have been great.

Weak adhesive

I bought a 40 pack of the mini clips to hang Christmas lights.  The sticky strips were not sticky at all!   They were complete garbage so I could not use any of the clips.  They aren't cheap either.  Very disappointing

Complete duds.  Unusable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these mini hooks to hang light strings for years. The adhesive strips used to be a foam material and they worked great. I left them up, on inside moldings, for years and they did not fall off. I even hung lights outdoors in the summer, under my eaves, and they held up all season.
The adhesive strips have been changed, not for the better, in the last couple of years, to this thin, clear plastic tape material, and they are now unreliable.  Even the foam strips on some of the larger style hooks fail.  I follow the instructions exactly, so it is not my application technique at fault. I do not know what they did to the adhesive, but it does not work as well as it used to. Sometimes they stay, sometimes they do not.   I no longer trust them to hold anything up. Tired of wasting money and timeon this product.
