Six year ago I started experiencing problems with the conventional mouse.  The joints in my first 2 fingers  and my wrist started giving me grief . I looked around for alternatives at that time and  purchased this 3M Ergonomic Mouse  and have been using it every since.  It took a while to get used to  using it, but it's been working great for me these past 6 years.  Best of all --  No more pain!!    A couple weeks ago, due to a project I am on, I  was working at a different computer with a conventional mouse.  Because I was pain-free for so long, I had forgotten that I can't use a regular mouse for long without pain.   Within a  couple days, the pain in my joints returned.   I now purchased a 2nd ergonomic mouse to use when I am sitting at someone else's computer.

I have severe osteo arthritis in my hands, particularly in my right hand, that makes a conventional mouse a literal pain. This 3M Ergonomic mouse is a dream come true. It took a little getting used to but I made the transition easily enough (for a 58 year old!). I can use my computer for a lot longer now because I am more pain free. I recommend this highly. Thank you 3M for a wonderful product.

Fantastic product for those with arthritis!

Was having carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms and tried this style of mouse on a recommendation and it has worked beautifully and helped to relieve some of my symptoms.

Worked wonders

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and can no longer use a traditional mouse due to contractures and swan neck deformity of my wrist and hands. This mouse has allowed me to continue working and fits my hands perfectly!  I am so thankful I found this. I have tried other ergonomical mouses (mice? lol) but none worked near as well.

I noticed some strain between my index finger and my middle finger, it was the way I held my fingers when scrolling with any other mouse, even the ball mouse. I kept my fingers above the buttons on the typical mouse and caused a lot of strain. So I have used this product ever since. I had one for 3 years, but it recently broke, I was so glad to find this one on line. I think it works even better than my previous one. This is a great device, it allows you to move freely versus a mouse, as wel as rest your hand naturally, instead of the awkward way with a typical mouse. It does take a few days to get use to it, but no fear, you will be glad you did it! I love it!

Fantastic way to keep your hand operating safely

This is the only mouse I've used for the past 10+ years, but it would have been nice to see some updates for connectivity. The wireless option requires a protruding proprietary dongle with a USB-A connector. To use it on a Mac would require a USB A-C adaptor, making it even more protruding. Why not just make it a standard Bluetooth accessory?

Great, but has not kept up with the times

I have used the large version of this mouse for several years. They are fantastic with a few quirks. The material is too hard to rest your hands on them comfortably. I have medium sized hands and use the large size. I turn the mouse to the right a little and am able to prevent my wrist bone from contacting the desk or mouse which creates a pressure point. The scrolling is not a very natural movement (squeeze and move the entire mouse up and down), and they should consider a wheel or toggle somewhere.

I tried the small wireless version and it always skips around my monitor due to wireless interference or a driver issue. I do a lot of photo editing which requires precise movement and the delay and jumping around is annoying in any program.

Go with the large wired version.

Where is the driver so that the scroll function can be activated. Has no one thought about bringing this function to live using the third button. I am a Mac user.
