I bought this kit over a year ago and patched a sizable hole left by an antiquated security alarm. Worked like a charm. Today I pulled out the package of putty/primer to fill holes in the closet. Still usable, filled the three holes very easily. It's nice to have everything I need for the project in one little package.

The only patch kit we'll ever use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is new to DIY home projects, or even those with experience, as it makes the patching process much simpler! Over many years of living in apartment complexes and hanging things on the walls, having furniture banged into walls while moving in or out, etc, I have had to do many patch jobs over the years and this by far has been the best product that I have tried in terms of making patching both easier and quicker. The fact that this dries so quickly and allows you to paint over it the same day is amazing! If you follow the simple instructions included with this it will make it very easy to do a nice patch job, even if this is your first time having to patch a wall. Using the included screen makes a big difference so you want to make sure you follow the instructions and use that, because if you do you will be thrilled with the end result because this product truly can make it appear like the hole/damage was never in your wall. I used this to repair wall damage that movers created when carrying bulky furniture up a staircase, as well as patching a few holes from moving large framed photos. This is by far the best product for anyone who lives in an apartment and wants to make sure they get their security deposit back, or any homeowners looking to spruce up nicked walls. You can't beat the quick drying time because previous products I have used always required 24 or more hours to dry which made the patch and paint job drag on much longer than I would prefer. This is definitely a must-have for do-it-yourselfers!

Great product for those new to DIY!

After waiting for months for them to return I decided to try the 3M Wall Repair Kit. What a great product! If I had known it was this easy I would have done this months ago. I'm not a great do it yourselfer but I was done in no time & no more hole, Love it!

I got this in the mail at the perfect time since I had a small hole in my kitchen that needed to be patched up. I like how easy this product was to use and it spreads very nice. It was dry in less than an hour... I know it says ready to paint in 30 minutes but I forgot to check after 30 minutes. The best part about this product is that everything needed to do the job comes in this nice convenient package ready for you to use! I would recommend this product for anyone who needs to patch a small hole.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We updated the towel bar in the bathroom, and had some holes to patch. The included putty knife was efficient and easy to use. The primer dried quickly and the sanding pad was helpful for a final smoothing. We are ready to paint! (Well, as soon as we pick up a quart for touch-ups around the house.) We did not use the self-adhesive patch (for bigger holes), so I can't speak to that specific item.

I ask to leave at my door, but of course they leave with the security booth. Which is a inconvenience.
