We purchased this router to replace our 5 year old router that reached its "end of life". It was still working fine but the new one was very easy to install and works better. We also replaced our modem at the same time so I'm not sure who should get credit for the much improved speed.

Note: I had to disable the “Protection Engine” and reboot the router to make it work properly. (I almost returned the router before this final configuration test.)

I haven't had any difficulty getting set up, and using this product. The results seem to counter some of the other comments left on the website. Working great!!

Nighthawk RS200 Router has been wonderful.

Netgear RS200 is an excellent choice for WiFi  , no longer having connection problems and steaming 3 tvs in house with no issues. I even discovered that I no longer need the extender that I needed to reach other parts of home.

The new series of Netgear routers combine a bunch of new and strong features that boost router signal strength to meet many household needs at great price points based on your budget and square feet requirements! I also appreciate the new design styles that don't have the protruding antennas of the past. I am pleased with our purchase and have already noticed the faster response online and faster streaming and MS Teams video and audio conference calls. Highly recommend these model routers

New Style Netgear Routers!

I've had the Nighthawk WiFi 7 Router RS200, 6.5Gbps for three weeks now and it has worked perfectly. I was very impressed by how easy it was to set up. The step-by-step instructions were easy to follow and it was stress-free to set up. No more falling off the Internet due to an old router that is no longer being updated. I will recommend this product to my friends.

Great product.

My previous Netgear router was 7 years old, and I only replaced it because it was out-of-date. This has been a solid replacement so far. Setup was easy and my devices are happy. It's been a great value to date.

Nighthawk Dual-Band WiFi 7 Router (RS200)

Before purchasing the RS200 WiFi Router our previous WiFi router coverage was often weak or lost altogether. With the RS200 our coverage is strong and consistent! The RS200 is outstanding !!

My previous routers were a nightmare to install. The Netgear phone app made the installation very easy. Changing the SSID and password to that of my old router obviated the need to manually install my new router on each device. The entire process was very smooth and much better than expected.

I always configure a router behind the ISP modem (ATT, Xfinity, Spectrum, etc.), and chose the RS200 for this role. While I do not use the WiFi of the router as I have multiple WAP's throughout the property, I've found that the RS200's WiFi signal is more than adequate for a two story house. The manageability and security features are what sold me on this, as well as the reputation of Netgear as a US-based supplier of networking gear. I'd highly recommend this for anyone needing a high level of security at a value budget.

Not Better than Spectrums router. I've had ring cameras for years. Nighthawk doesn't seem to have as much range as Spectrums and the other routers I have used. A camera forty to fifty feet away won't connect any longer.

Not that good, range is much too short.
