Handy for extra weight, but not heavy enough. We used cement patio stones on top, and then have planters as well

Not heavy enough, but looks ok

Adequate if not the slightest breeze, still not solid enough to hold umbrella steady. Need several cement blocks to prevent flipping over. Problem is the base of umbrella legs don't extend the same.
