I have made ice cream with 3 ingredients that you put in a bowl and freeze overnight.   This ice cream freezer that works like one from my childhood, using recipe my grandmother did, watching it churning,  the first taste is so worth the effort for memories you can make.

I would recommend.  Suggest you follow directions adding plenty of ice and salt to get the proper temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to follow instructions, made great old fashioned ice cream in 30 minutes. I followed old fashioned vanilla recipe, cooking %26 chilling mixture before starting.  Will definitely be making more!

We Love It!

I wanted to start making ice cream, but as a newbie wanted to start out with something basic and inexpensive. I can't speak for more experienced ice cream makers, but as a beginner, this was exactly what I was looking for. Setting this up was incredibly easy, and I was able to successfully whip up my very first batch of ice cream without a hitch. I can see myself upgrading to something more sophisticated some time down the road, but for now, it's good for what it is.

Great for Newbies!

I got this for my dad for Christmas, he's really been going on about wanting an ice cream maker so I'm sure he'll love it! I was really appealed by the packaging %26 its deliciously looking texture of icecream, made me very anxious %26 like I said this isn't even for my uses lol.. but we are a huge icecream loving family %26 Im excited to get to try this out!

Nostalgia

I have had this ice cream maker for 30 years and I just looked up the name of the maker of it because I had no idea. I came online and they still have the exact same model we bought at least 30, maybe 35 years ago and it has never failed us and has made the most delicious ice cream every time. I am making some right now. What a great product.
