I have been sewing for 50 years and have looked into embroidery machines several times but was hesitant to purchase. I wasn't sure I would get enough use to justify the purchase. I have always been a lover of Brother products and used to own the older version of this machine. This is incredibly user friendly and anyone can operate this little machine. This machine is great for all kinds of small embroidery projects, and there are several computer programs available that are compatible with this machine. Making it easy to create anything you could imagine.

This is only my second month as new owner and I truly ❤️ this embroidery machine.  It is so easy to use and stitches out beautiful.  Highly recommend for a new person in this hobby!

I found out if you hit the ? Button the machine will show you on the display screen any and everything you need to know on how to work the machine. It also has some great start patterns and comes with everything you need to start. I def would reccomend anyone to get this machine if they are a beginner for sure theres not so much on the machine but enough for it do wonderful things.

Really great for a learner

I purchased my machine six months ago and have truly enjoyed it. It's a fantastic beginner machine and I often recommend it to people who want to put their foot in and learn to embroider. I have found that ALL my brother machines are very user friendly.

Great beginner

For a first time embroiderer this machine is perfect!  Clear concise directions given in user manual for basic operation and troubleshooting.  Thread guides are labeled clearly on machine to aid first time users as well.  Internal programming allows you to increase, decrease, adjust, or change internal designs.  USB flash drive port increases the possibilities to endless projects! Priced for those on a tight budget who want to get into this hobby without committing to a big chunk of change.

If you're a newbie this machine is for you!

Love this!

This was a gift to me and I am already hooked. I found it very easy to use and thread. The biggest design is 4x4”. I have downloaded designs to use with a usb stick. Simple. By my second design I got a better understanding of the screen. I did read the pamphlet that came with the machine but felt they were a little confusing at first. I watched a few YouTube videos that helped a lot. I do recommend using a better embroidery thread.

My First Embroidery Machine

It is extremely difficult to find good inexpensive 90wt thread whether in spools or on prewound bobbins.  If I cannot find some soon will return the machine. Not worth the time and aggravation trying to find thread.
