Doesn't smell exactly as I thought it should, but it is acceptable. I have been wearing 4711 for well over 50 years, so I guess not every bottle smells the same. Still, it's nice enough to wear.

I get migraine headaches from most stronger colognes.  4711 is a clean light fragrance that I can wear without getting a headache.  I also like that I can wear it in a crowd of people at church and know that I am not overpowering them with my cologne.  I only wish the scent would last longer.

We used to use this scent and it was quite pleasant. This current bottle really has no fragrance except an initial "sharp" scent.  When applied to body, the scent vanishes within minutes and even when reapplied you cannot smell anything!! It is weird.  It seems it is pretty much alcohol in a spray bottle.  I would not recommend this and I would not buy it again.  Very disappointing!  I want to smell nice.  I think if I used the entire bottle it would still not have any aroma.  A few of my family members tried it, also, and they had the same effect.  No scent.  It is a Unisex cologne, so should be good for men or women.  Have they reformulated the old recipe? That seems to be happening more and more with the old favorites! So sad!
