Bought these 4-5 months ago and at first, set them aside because the dimensions did not work for our small freezer.  But decided to take a chance and cut them to fit, and what used to be a snow box is now still frost free.  I am very pleased with this product and do recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the anti frost mats work as advertised. Have had 4 of these installed  for about 1 year after we spent part of 2 days removing 3 " or more of frost per shelf from our vertical freezer. Now there is 0 to less than 1" of frost on shelves w/o mats or where mats were not large enough to cover the entire surface. Nice to still have lots of room for food and food not loss under ice.

Anti freeze mats for freezer

They do what they claim.

While keeping the bottom of the freezer from developing ice, at the same time, the mat keeps the freezer from being able to actually freeze my food now.  So my choice is this-I can either have frozen food in my freezer and have the build up of ice that I will have to manually defrost periodically, or I can use the mat and then have food in my freezer that is not totally frozen.

Freeze or not to freeze???

The mats are pretty small. The picture makes them look like they are a decent sized square but they are rectangle and don't come close to covering one shelf!  There were no instructions or information so we just put one each on two shelves.  So far no change.  We will experiment more with them, but I'm not very hopeful at this point.

Disappointed.
