The size mentioned on Wal-Mart site is exactly what's on the packaging. They came to that length by measuring on an angle. I was hoping it would be the size mentioned....it's short like the other short ones, which is what I tried to avoid....longer ones protect your wrists more when the oven is hot. Other than that, the look is beautiful and the delivery was on time, for a change. I can only rate the product here and because of the improper measurement, it's getting one-star rating. Plus the quality of the pot-holders where you place your hands, is very poor. I haven't opened the set yet to see if the tea-towels print is okay and not faded. Sometimes the part that is showing looks good and when you lay it flat, you can see inconsistent colours; usually more faded than darker, to save on ink.
