These kettlebells are great. Nice change from the dumbells. Much more fun to work out with. Great price too! I've seen prices that were much higher and I didn't pay for shipping!!!! That was my biggest worry, the weight of these kettlebells and the shipping price! I really wanted some kettlebells with color to make it even more exciting to use, but these were a great price and I couldn't pass it up. Thanks Walmart!!

The kettlebells are well made with a rubber coating on the weight . The handle is bare iron, and its thickness is appropriate for gripping. Although the 5 lbs is a bit useless for any meaningful workout, the price for the entire set is very reasonable at about $80. Expect to spend that much for about 2 individual kettlebells elsewhere. The quality of the kettlebells are good, and the ergonomics are good for the hands and body. They are an exceptional value for the price. I am glad I purchased them.

Very Good Value

These dumbells are the best price and quality I have seen. The best part is they are wider in the grip area so the larger ones I can get both hands to hold them. The coating around them is another added bonus. Some reviews said it rubs and hurts but it doesn't. It actually allows you a better grip in certain variant exercizes where you hold them closer to the ball. I have been using for 3 weeks and can't be happier. Shipping was fine - my box was in perfect shape. Do the math - I don't know why you buy a different set.

Best Price for better dumbells

Love them. Highly recommend them for self or as I have them, for personal training. If utilized correctly they are by far the best thing to use to tone, strengthen, ROM and flexibility.

Quit Playing

Product was shipped site to store. The KBs were loosely packed in a flimsy cardboard box, and this may explain why they are NOT shiny like they are in the photo. Because they had so much room to flop around in, they weakened the box (it was heavily reinforced with tape when I got it, but the bottom was still falling out), the vinyl coating on them is slightly worn in some places, the painted-on white numbers are slightly rubbed off, and they were covered in cardboard dust. I also noticed a few small rust spots on a couple of the handles.

However, if you can get past the appearance, these weights should be able to do what they were designed to do and last a long time. I put them on my digital scale, and they are all accurately weighted. This is a great price for this set compared to others I've seen online. Besides that, I preferred these over other sets because the handles are nice and rounded, so I don't have to worry about scraping my knuckles during a swing or position change. The non-coated handles are very rough, possibly to prevent slipping, but if this proves to be a problem they are wide and roomy enough for me to use weight gloves.

Marcy Kettlebells

Unlike other reviewers I did not receive a ripped up box. It arrived at the store intact. The kettlebells were fine and they appear to be good quality products. There are several workout options available on the internet and a couple of video workouts out there, but there are six basic movements that are good for us beginners. My wife and I are are enjoying them and we are starting with the lightest weights which is plenty for now.

I recommend this product becuase it has good grip even when you have sweaty hands. I also like the fact that it has various weights. This way I and my fiance can do the same kettle bell workout with her using a lighter weight and I can use heavier weights. It also allows room for you to increase and decrease the weight as necessary for workouts. Great product.

I needed a basic start set without too big an investment. The wide handles also fit my needs. For the price this set proved perfect for me.

Best value and selection for beginners

This is a great set for the price. And good for a beginner. I believe the set will take me a long time before I outgrow it, especially the 20 lb. The 5 lb bell is tiny. Quite small in comparison to what you see at chain fitness stores. Was concerned about the overall weight of the items during shipment. Was impressed with the packaging. The box was intact and no problems with the product inside.

Best price around

Ehhh ... cheap, but the handles are rough and more importantly, the vinyl coating is a design flaw. The surface sticks to your skin and pulls you hair, which makes the snatch, the clean, the press and the turkish get-up pretty uncomfortable. Further, the bottoms are not very flat, which makes renegade rows virtually impossible. Go with the Cap Barbell KBs.
