This model is quieter than our older Danby portable AC.
I have only turned it on this afternoon to see if it works, and it does.
We would still need to see how well it works when used for a full day.
Given its small capacity--suitable for an area of 250 SF only--we will use it in our master bedroom instead.
It's a 3-in-1 model so hopefully there would be no need to attach a drain hose.

the price was great the product is unbelievably good but design makes the machine put the cold air up it's only loud when it's working hard and auto mode when it gets down to desired temperature it gets quieter and keeps the room comfortable I must have if you do a lot of cooking and heat the kitchen and living room up and don't want the bedrooms to be cold this unit really helps keep the ambient temperature right where you want it had a friend that bought a similar unit it has a cork in the drain outlet and a cap so on this unit be sure to remove the little center cord put the hose up to drain the water works perfect works great also all supplies are included including drain hose I am also putting a picture on here the cork from the drain

So far, it is a great machine, and at a great price (Costco). Packed well and easy to install. Cools off our apartment to a comfortable temperature and noise level is as expected of any air conditioner.

I love my new portable AC! Very attractive unit and very easy to set up. I think the adjustable louvers are very practical and the way they automatically close when you power off is a nice touch.  I haven't had a chance to explore all the settings yet but I'm  looking forward to it. I'm hoping it will serve me well in the years to come.

Fresh out of the box

Love this air conditioner its a lot more lighter than other air conditioners and works great at knowing when to stop the air flow once it reaches the correct temperature inside.

Best product!

I only got this air conditioner less  than a week ago so I haven't used it much but has been doing fine.It was easy to set up and the manual was usefull.I hope it lasts as long as my Danby freezer which has been going for nearly 30 years

Happy

We love our previous Danby portable A/C so we decided to get a 2nd Danby for the bedroom. Easy to assemble, quiet operation, and high efficiency cooling off the bat.

Excellent Canadian A/C

Easy to install. Cooled room quickly! Does have a bit of paper flutter noise coming from back unit. Checked to make sure no packaging left inside.
