I need a saw to cut branches and trees in the garden. This Hyper Tough Reciprocating Saw certainly does the job. It came with two wood cutting blades. You can't find this price anywhere. If it would have come with a safety lock/switch, it would be perfect for me.

Good, basic reciprocating saw with variable speed trigger - has enough power to do most jobs. Ergonomically good and well-balanced. This is a must-have for the occasional job in the garden or in the shop.

The main asset of the tool for me was the cost. In the same price range I could not find better than this here. 
Over 3 months of intense usage, it is holding up well. I used it to resaw wood boards 3/4" into 2 and 1-1/2" into 3 slats. Also used it to cut through several sheets of 20 gauge steel. 
Even without clamping either material, I was able to achieve my goal but it takes some effort and mastery of the fulcrum. 
Main pro: relatively light weight (I'm a big guy so it's relative)
Main cons: Not as powerful as I expected, I recommend you factor in the cost of buying high-end recip saw blades.
All and all, really happy with the end results considering my alternate options.

Good value, and does the job.

I bought it for small projects, but I was so scared to used it. Makes loud noise and vibrates. So I needed great control to operate it. I returned it. Might not be for a beginner.
