The bird thermometer looked nice in our back porch, but I couldn't rely on it for an accurate indication of the actual temperature. This Taylor thermometer relies on the accuracy of a coiled bi-metallic strip and the manual placement of the pointer relative to the thermometer scale. I compared the reading of the thermometer to three digital thermometers and the Taylor product was actually 5 degrees off. I found this to be unacceptable, so I contacted the manufacturer. Taylor's customer service offered to send me a replacement, but couldn't refund me since the purchase was made through Walmart. I contacted Walmart's supplier, ShopChanute, and they refunded me. If you don't mind a slight error in temperature readings, the art work on the Taylor product is a nice decoration for almost any wall.

It's pretty to look at, but inaccurate

Very small.  That and the fact that the face is very dark, not like the picture in the ad the ad,   Difficult to read unless you are right in front of it.

was so disappointed.  over twenty  dollars,  I  figured it was closer to the 12" size instead of six....

  just make sure you look at the size of it.this product comes in a much smaller size.

I never got the thermometer to like or dislike. I did get the other thermometer and its in place so happy about that.

I THOUGHT THIS ITEM WAS INDOOR-OUTDOOR MEANING
A WEATHER ITEM WITH SUCTION CUPS.....COULDN'T USE
IT, ANOTHER PURCHASE I HAD TO GIVE AWAY....TOO MUCH
HASSLE TO RETURN IT!!!!!

MISUNDERSTOOD DESCRIPTION

It's supposed to be 6" and it's only 5" and the background is supposed to be white and it's green so it's kind of hard to read.

Not what expected

A very nice thermometer for my Lanai. Difficult to read from a distance because of background.
