I already have a molcajete but I just purchased this for my daughter…she  has already used it and said it was perfect for grinding spices..she loves it!!

The Perfect spice grinder

It's very good pestle because it is made with granite. Highly highly durable, because granite is found under 10000 foot from ground. 
I am using every day to crush ginger, garlic, black pepper, cloves etc.
This is made of stone , so no question for rust and other reactions for the food items.

Superb gadget for every day use in kitchen.

Sturdy set. I bought it to make pesto and other things. The set is heavy, which is good so bowl doesn't move around while O am using it.

Perfect size!  Use this for garlic, avocados and spices . Easy to clean and not as heavy as larger sizes.

6" Granite Molcajete

Used this the same day I got it and it's amazing. I highly recommend it and don't forget to season it before use! Also do not use soap to clean these, only water!

I like the width.   Much easier to use especially with big hands.   Also like the substantial weight.  Makes it very stable.   Based on my searches, this was a very reasonable price.   Delivery timing was as promised.

It a perfect size the color is much lighter than I expected probably because I'm used to the ones made volcanic rock from Mexico but with more use I hope it will get a bit darker

Good buy

I like the bigger size of this Molcajete.  The Pestle is big enough to really grind down on the harder foods such as garlic.  It is a very heavy well made Molcajete.

its kinda gritty like concrete. hope it does not put dust in my food or medicine. I got what I paid for. Just facts.  :-(

IMUSA Granite bowl/pedestal

The item I received was not at all like the photo when I ordered online, nor does is match the photo on the box. It is quite a different shape and an entirely different color. It still serves its purpose but I was going for the esthetic as well, which is why I'm disappointed.
