Maybe my bar is too small but the plates are one inch and seem snug, these just slide on. No tension, disappointing

These clips seem very thin, and cheaply made. But as they say, "You get what you pay for". Only time will tell, how they'll perform.

A spring collar needs to fit snugly on the barbell. These do not. They slide on and off easily rendering them largely moot. I spent time trying to make them tighter, which barely worked on a few and not on all.
