It seems shorter than 65 inch tall. It is easy to assemble. I appreciate that the crystal strings are already stringed and individually wrapped. It makes things easier for me to unwrap each string instead of trying to string over 50 strings on the drum! It takes time to slowly unwrap each string but I don't mind when I look at the final result. The overall look is very pretty and elegant.  It is also well packed and comes with instruction. Two thumbs up!
