Phenomenal picture & great service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After spending some time with the LG G5… honestly, this TV is ridiculous.

The picture quality is incredible. Super bright for an OLED, amazing contrast, and colours look much more natural and cinematic than my previous Samsung S90D. Everything just has more depth and realism instead of that overprocessed “wow” effect.

Gaming and movies both look stunning, and paired with the Q990D it feels properly premium.

Now the honest bit: There is some visible dithering / faint diagonal noise in very dark scenes or bad quality content if you look closely. Apparently it's a common WOLED thing rather than a fault, but worth mentioning because once you notice it, you notice it.

That said… with normal content I barely see it anymore because the TV overall just looks that good.

No TV is perfect, but the G5 is easily the best TV I've owned so far. 🥰

LG G5: The Best TV I've Owned… With One Small

I had the E6 and this is on the same level if not better of being the high end tv on a modest to high end budget. If only the new LG sound system was affordable this would be the perfect home cinema set up. Highly recommend.

LG OLED65G5W

Having come from the C9 series and now to the G5 is a huge jump in technology. The same dramas I watch are now clearer and sharper, as compared to the previous TV. No regrets

Absolutely great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This OLED tv is exceptional. The brightness is amazing. We have our living room window opposite the tv on one side and wall lights on the other and have always had to put up with the fact we can see both at times. This is no longer the case with this LG tv. The picture is sharp and bright even for viewing sports. The price was reasonable too compared to any of the competitors for this quality.

Exceptional TV

48 inch LG OLED evo AI G5 4K Smart TV 2025 Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality and sound are excellent. Set up quite easy. But I find the "Magic" remote control trolley unnecessarily complicated and confusing. I have 3 other tvs and the controls are much simpler with dedicated fast forward,rewind, pause and stop buttons. Also the on line user manual has very limited information - I had to resort to searching for YouTube videos to fathom it out.

Great tv - Remote Control not so much!

The sound drops out while watching tv and will not come back on until you fully unplug the tv and wait a couple of minutes until turning it back on. I have tried everything!
This is a very expensive purchase and I expected better. It’s so so very frustrating.

I’m bitterly disappointed about this purchase considering the high price tag. This TV packed up and stopped working 5 days after purchase. The TV refuses to switch on. The only piece working is the flashing LED light. Not what I expected for a TV that won PC mag’s Editors’ Choice winner for OLED TVs.
