i don't can, but i'm back after repurchasing this item because bell pint jars are THE biggest workhorse in my kitchen. i can store 16 ounces of anything without microplastic concerns, they work as casual drinkware, and they're perfect for leftovers AND come in clutch for ingredient prep if you're into that

now that i have another set, i am going to quick pickle everything — literally all you have to do is cut red cabbage or red onion, add peppercorns, bay leaf, and/or garlic if you have it or want to, and add a bit of salt and sugar. fill the jar halfway with vinegar or ACV, half with water, cover, shake, and they're ready in 30-60 minutes and stay good for weeks! 

sure, weck is trendy, but it's not nearly as versatile as a basic bell pint jar. the OG

These Ball jars last for years. I love the wide mouth feature. I use these for smoothies, olives, sauces, dressings, and much more. It is so nice to look into the frig and see what I'm looking for. I don't love metal lids and I swap those out for their plastic coounterparts, but that's just personal preference. Walmart offers the best priced options and I love that this item ships for free.

Wide, useful jars

These jars are so versatile! I use them to store food leftovers in the fridge without taking out much space. We also use them for storage (cupcake liners, leftover craft paint) and for crafts (lava lamps, bead storage).  

The wide mouth jars are more practical in my opinion because you can also store food in them in the freezer without fear that the expansion of the food will break the jar.

I love these jars and the wide top opening. I bought them for meal prepping overnight oats, and they have been perfect for that. The jars have also been good for storing things like freshly cut carrot sticks. These are a great value.

Perfect for Overnight Oats

We got these to utilize with a mason jar vacuum sealer.  They are sturdy, well constructed and the seal with the lids is outstanding.   I am very pleased with this purchase and the quality.

not only do I use these for canning. I also use them for storing leftovers. it is so easy to put soup in it and bring it to work. you can heat it right in the jar!

Great for leftovers!

Love the wide mouth in these! It's great for my canning, and my sourdough starter. I've had more narrow ones that I'm not able to scrape the starter down properly. These are my favorite.

Great for sourdough starter

I received a pressure canner for Christmas and needed these to can some apples. Bought them on sale and just couldn't be happier with them. Great Ball quality and wonderful value. I highly recommend them. The wide mouth makes them much easier to pack and stack. I highly recommend these.

Just couldn't be happier with them

These are by far the best canning mason jars in our opinion you can get. We bought them in the offseason ( early January) and the price was very good. Buy now before you need at harvest time and price is much better for a case of 12. Got them in 2 days delivered to our house no extra charge.

Quality is not as it once was.  Sign of the times, I guess.  It is not like Ball can make these smaller since their designed use is largely defined by their size so they cut costs where they can. These are thinner and lighter than my previous Ball jars.  These will do what I need these for, but going forward, I will look to buy old stock or shop eBay for older manufactured products.

One of the cases some jars are broken %26 there is broken glass in the case. Did not open as I did not want broken glass spilling out onto my counter. I would like a replacement.
