It really wasn't difficult to assemble, but it was fairly time consuming due to the amount of pieces and gluing. It's very sturdy and looks wonderful. It was such a great price! Heating element works reeaally well!!

The only downside of this item is it's smaller than I thought it would be. That being said, it was easy to put together and it holds a lot of storage. 

Would definitely recommend!

Looks just as pictured; very study and relatively easy to assembly.  However fire place was dented in one corner.  The box the fireplace came in was damaged in the same location but no damage to the exterior boxes; so this was packed damaged.  The unit works nonetheless.

Great buy for the price.

The surface can scratches easy and after contacting the Mfg - no one responded on any type of resolution.  Just be aware of how you handle this.  Also, be patient assembling the unit - it is very tedious and will take some patience.  Could use some more glue to glue in the dowels.

Questionable Material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The electrical plug for the fireplace/heater started to short and melt which in turn has caused the unit to turn off and on. Along with that it kept using could have caused a fire.
