Protect your purchase

Camera's wide-angle capability falls short of expectations.

[Employee of walmartcanada] Purchased this for a trip to use with my rental vehicle.  It was easy to assemble. Plugged it in and it worked. Relatively easy to set it up. I didn't bother with the date/time set up because it was more for my protection from other drivers.  For the price it worked fine.  Will keep it handy for other times I need a dash cam with a rental vehicle.

Simple, works well.

This camera works pretty good I like the automatic on and off each used it all off mess round with it you just started your vehicle and where you go it also automatically records which is nice. I would've given it five stars and had a 1080 P camera. good bang for your buck!!

Auto on/ off

I bought this two days and immediately began testing it. It is an ok product for what you pay for. 
The camera does not have a good wide angle as claimed. I had to buy a wide angle lens attachment meant for smartphones from dollar store and stick it in front to improve the wide angle capability. The videos and images do not have very good dynamic range so if there is bright light like sun or bright roads, the darker areas almost become black, greatly reducing its utility in case the area around the car is dark. 

The 12V cable provided is quite long enough to route it through the windscreen perimeter. It connects easily to computer to download videos and pictures. 
The manual provided is quite helpful to guide through the features. The onscreen menu is intutive. Overall a good product for the price.
