Upgrade From Older Tv

Better than I've expected. Out of the box calibration is good for most of the viewers. But you may perform slightly advanced calibration and you'll get the brilliant colors, sharpness and ext. According to my opinion this tv you can compare only with Samsung s95f. Depends only on preferences. Have a good one

Image performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant TV, it's quality & a great picture and sound. Really pleased I decided on LG.

Quality TV

lg.com/uk

As soon as you think it can’t get better, it does. This TV doesn’t disappoint in any areas. Now I have to try and stay away from my viewing time. Super easy to mount on a wall. The set up is intuitive. Easy to do.

Super clear picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 77-inch LG G6 display is exceptional. The picture quality, contrast, and brightness levels are top-tier, making movies and gaming look incredible right out of the box. The ultra-slim design looks fantastic on the wall. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a flagship OLED experience.

Incredible picture quality and stunning design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wall-mounted the 77" G5 in our living room and the picture is stunning: it's bright enough to hold up in a sunny room, blacks are perfect at night, and HDR films and games on the PS5 look better than anything I've owned. The flush-fit bracket makes it sit almost flat against the wall like a picture frame, though note there's no stand in the box.

Great flagship OLED TV

I've owned LG OLED tv for over 12 years, and love the platform. This model is by far the most impressive with picture quality, sound, and form factor. One of my favourite features is actually how it's hung with its own flush mount bracket.

I do miss the old wand style remote, just felt better in the hand.

Another feature I'd wish it had would be the ability to disable the front power button, or allow me to control how much time is required for it to power on the tv. My daughter is autistic and knows how to use the button to turn on when ever she wants. This is not a typical feature other families might need but might benefit from.

Highly recommend, and would buy again.

Stunning Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the 77-inch LG G6 OLED up on the wall in our lounge, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with it. The flush Gallery Design is amazing, it sits completely flat against the wall and looks incredibly smart – no messy cables or clunky gaps. The picture quality is genuinely brilliant. The new MLA panel makes a massive difference to the brightness, especially when watching HDR films, whilst still keeping those perfectly deep, inky blacks that OLEDs are known for.

Whether we're settling in for a movie night or playing PlayStation, it handles the motion perfectly without any lag.

If you're debating whether to take the plunge on this year's model, I'd highly recommend it. It's a stunning bit of kit and easily the best TV I've ever owned.

An absolutely brilliant telly – worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 10 years of loyal service from my trusted LG OLED55B6V, I finally decided it was time to upgrade. My old TV was brilliant, but a decade of heavy use with static TV channel logos and subtitles had eventually caused some screen burn-in.
Moving to the OLED65G64LW has been an absolute revelation. The jump from 55 to 65 inches is impressive on its own, but the sheer leap in technology over the last ten years is mind-blowing.
The brightness levels on this G-series panel are a massive step up from my old B6—it handles room reflections effortlessly while keeping those famous, perfect OLED blacks. Knowing how much LG has advanced their built-in panel-care features, logo luminance adjustment, and anti-burn-in tech over the years gives me massive peace of mind this time around, especially for broadcast TV and subtitles.
The design is a work of art it mounts incredibly flush to the wall, looking completely seamless and premium. The smart webOS interface is also lightning-fast compared to older generations.
If you are hesitating to upgrade an older OLED, don't look back. This is a masterful piece of engineering and proves why LG still leads the way.

Absolute Masterclass in Picture Quality and Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV. Easy to mount with supplied wall bracket. Easy to connect to all devices and cable up. Had to reroute existing cable layout as different than my previous TV. Fantastic picture. Very bright. For my personal taste i toned down the reds a little.. Very impressed.

Fantastic TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good TV, Great picture, sound is not quite so good, so will need to add a sound bar. Also suffers with constant clicking and popping from the cabinet (caused by cabinet expanding and contracting, this is a bit off putting for such a premium TV, LG need to address this at some point)

Great Picture - sound isn't too great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The image quality is fantastic and exactly what I expected. Bright, sharp, and genuinely impressive.

Unfortunately the software experience lets it down. webOS feels limiting compared with a proper Google TV setup. I cannot install native Google TV or Android TV friendly apps, so I am forced to stick to whatever is available in the webOS app catalogue.

Bluetooth audio is also fiddly. If I use an external Bluetooth speaker, after powering the TV off and back on the speaker often needs reconnecting again, which gets annoying fast.

The remote is another disappointment. It has lots of shortcut buttons for apps I do not use and I find that inconvenient. Other brands offer remotes without these shortcuts, and at this price I expected more premium attention to detail.

There are also missing quality of life features that are standard on Google TV, like automatically launching a chosen app after power on.

Finally, I do not use cable, aerial or satellite input at all, so I do not need channel tuning or TV related menus, yet there is no option to disable that side of the interface and hide it properly.

Overall, an excellent panel held back by the platform and small but constant annoyances.

Stunning picture, frustrating software
