I will be honest, there's a learning curve but once you really knpw how to effectively use your paint sprayer, I hope you will enjoy painting as much as I do now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PaintMax paint sprayer is very handy. It has a shoulder strap to carry it around easily. The strap is about 2.6 ft. The flexible hose is 4.9 feet and the power cord is 4.9 ft. It weighs 3.9 lb without the paint in it. It has a simple one button control and 3 spray patterns. It sprays horizontal flat, vertical flat and circular. You can paint at any angle. The spray gun detaches quickly to change the paint. The tank holds about 800 milliliters of paint. You can use oil base, latex base paints, sealers, stains or any other kind of paints. It has a one-coat coverage and a constantly spray. It does not drip alot so it is easy to clean up. You can paint inside or outside and also just about anything that needs painting. I did have a problem with the hose coming off while using. I used some duct tape to hold it on so that it wouldn't come off. It would not be good for a very big paint job. I would recommend the PaintMax paint sprayer to anyone looking for a small but handy paint sprayer

good for small jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really did not have high expectations for this item. I have used high quality painting equipment and I really expected this to be subpar. I used it for a dresser I was refurbing. It was a cheap, fiber board dresser which was originally coated in some kind of high gloss plastic-y stuff. I gave it a quick sand and went to it. This sprayer do cover very evenly and fairly quickly. I was particularly pleased with that I was able to get an eve coat over the old paint with a water-based cheap paint. I did not experience any gumming up or clogging. I did have a slight bit of trouble with the air hose but sorted it quickly just by detaching and reattaching the hose. I will definitely use this again for small projects like this. I would not attempt large rooms or walls with this just because of the capacity. It doesn't hold enough to cover any real expanse without multiple stops to refill.

It doesn't seem to be strong enough pressure to actually move the paint through the sprayer. I even watered down the paint a bit to make it thinner and it didn't help. I went to the instructions a couple times and nothing changed. The motorized unit also got really really hot. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

Don't waste your money

Garbage. Hose twisted, didnt see part of it had a tear and paint leaked all over.  Sprayer didn't hold much to begin.

JUNK!!!

I used this item today I didn't like it hose kept popping off on both sides  over an over never finished the job it also gets really hot

I need a new hose

Paint Sprayer

Took 4 hrs to do 2 walls, sprayer too cheap-overheated, melted black hose several times, had to cut and tape. Soaked walls and made drips or didn't spray enough, constantly adjusting spray and tried both diluted and not diluted. Heat was coming out of the middle seams and the bottom.

Wasted our time and money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have tried to get this to work twice with a thick and a thin paint. I cannot get the hose to stay on. I thought it might be trying to hard with the super thick paint I was using but I couldnt get it to work when I watered it down either. I was really looking forward to this as I jeed to paint my exterior and it was a disappointment.
