Fitment: for Kia Sorento 2016-2020. Why Do Need to Replace the Rear Trunk Lift Gate Latch? The trunk lock wouldn&#39;t engage on the actual hook down the bottom. The rear Trunk latch can&#39;t be closed, lock, or unlocked remotely. The  latch actuator was broken/damaged. How to Install the Rear Trunk Lid Lock Latch Actuator? Remove the guard plate. Take the trunk release cable and side pin, and loosen the install bolts. Link the new latch and tight bolts, and connect the cable and pin. The above is for reference, please check the relevant replacement video when you are in doubt. Notice: This is a NON-OEM product, accessory only!
