Installing the TV over my fireplace was OK as I was just replacing one no longer working. The problem was understanding the magic remote as there were no words on the buttons, and no Input button to select what HDMI was needed. Also, no instructions came in the box. I had to search the internet to operate it.

The features of the TV, Dolby Atmos, Filmmaker Mode free channels and a 120Hz refresh rate make the visual and audio truly high end.  In a nutshell, this is a no brainer for a top tier TV purchase at a great price.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the LG 86QNED85AUA, and I have to say — this thing is a beast. I've been using it in my main living room, and the 86-inch screen really gives a “movie theater” feel right at home. The picture quality is phenomenal — colors are vibrant, blacks are deep (especially for a bright room like mine with windows and a skylight), and HDR content really pops. I was worried about glare during the day, but the brightness handles it surprisingly well.

Setting it up was straightforward, and webOS is smooth and intuitive. I love that it has Filmmaker Mode, so movies look like they were intended to, and the 120Hz refresh makes fast-moving scenes look silky. Gaming is also great with the VRR support — no noticeable lag or stuttering.

If I had to nitpick, there's a little blooming around really bright highlights in dark scenes, but honestly, it's hardly noticeable unless you're really looking for it. Overall, this TV feels like the perfect balance between size, picture quality, and value. Definitely recommend if you want a huge, high-quality screen without stepping up to the even more expensive 92A series.

Great TV For A Great Price!!! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The QNED series TVs from LG are great. Having owned a QNED 86 for 4 years it was time to get bigger and brighter. LG's 2025 TV with EVO certification and new AI features sealed the deal. With the holiday sales on, it was an easy decision.

What a fabulous TV from LG.

I find it inconceivable that whenever there is an update I have to unplug the TV to have access to HDMI to listen to the TV. Maybe I would have chosen a different model than LG.

Medium Functionality

My Review for the 50QNED85AUA has its Pros and Cons. On a positive note, the picture is clear and crisp*. 

Compared to another current year LG and current year Samsung, the GUI is considerably slower. 

Of concern*, the TV had a section of the screen go bad. LG did cover is under warranty but the process is overly long.
