I got this in the spring to see if it might help cool the room down and prevent wasted money using air conditioning early in the season, unnecessarily. It worked like a gem, it really surprised me actually. In the mornings and evenings it moves the cooler air and saved me money in electricity. Paid for itself in the first month. On really hot days you'll still need AC, but instead of using AC in May or June (like usual), I didn't need to turn it on until July. Huge savings in hydro bills, you can't go wrong.

These are excellent for putting in your windows to bring in cool air to help cool off your house. They have adjustments on each side so that they fit into your window perfectly, then you just slide your window down on top of the fan sealing it into the window frame. Perfect little cooling system for a reasonable price.

Window Fan

fan pushes very less air. I purchased 1 but that was faulty, the fan blade was not fully made. (I worked in Plastic factory) then the assembler built the fan (Assembler Failed). Then Quality Check Failed. Packaging Failed they didn't check the fan Blades.

 Then i returned back to Walmart and purchased 3 more but i opened those boxes to ensure i dont have to come back to replace again. So they all were visibly fine. but when i placed one on the window. One of the fan refused to spin. I pushed in circullar motion with sharp object to assist with running it started after few attempts but then it was making sound like something was touching the fan from behind. upon carefully inspection found the cover of the copper wire coil was not properly glued. So just carefully inspect with you buy these fans. Other then that they work fine.

Buyer Beware- Once working they are good

Perfect for in a bedroom window, use it on high to suck out the hot air at supper time then as it cools off flip it around to bring in the cool air to sleep. I went with 4 stars because its so wide and smooth on the sides you have to lean it in the window, it doesnt have a lip or anything to catch and hold on the window itself. Still works great though.

Fan is poor quality and one of the accordian sides broke when it was opened. I would not recommend this window fan to anyone. Buyer beware you get what you pay for!
