Assembly Instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This step stool is so nice looking and extremely handy in a kitchen with tall cabinets. I love it! I am going to buy another for my bedroom closet. We have very tall ceilings in our house. Highly recommend!

Handy yet beautiful step stool

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product! Simple assembly with tool included. Convenient short step that folds up for easy storage

Great appearance and utility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised at overall quality when considering the price paid. Easy assembly

Great little step stool and it is also my breakfast bar stool. It tucks right under the counter and when I need to get to the top cabinets it is perfect. Assembly is pretty easy just mark the pieces before you start. I used masking tape and it was assembled in no time.

Noce

This is a nice wooden stool that looks nice anywhere in the home. Not one that you need to hide away in a closet.

Wooden step stool

I bought this stool for our new house, the kitchen has very high and deep cabinets, I wanted something that I could leave out and it not look out of place. This was just the the right stool for that. Solid and esthetically pleasing. Great purchase!!

Fantastic stool!

Very solid and tall. My bed is 38" off the ground with a 12" mattress on top and I can easily climb onto it from this stool. Assembly was quick and easy. My only issue is that the little wooden pegs they give you to cover up the screw holes don't stay in very well; nothing a bit of wood glue cant solve.

Good quality

Purchased this after reading other reviews noting a few cautions. First when assembling I understood not to tighten any screws until all were partially screwed first. I did so but as a 65 year old woman I was not strong enough to tighten the screws. I'm a competitive athlete so was surprised at this. I had to ask another stronger person to help me. Second I understood that all of the cosmetic plugs that would cover the screw heads fell out spontaneously. This is also true but attached are some photos showing how with a block of wood and a hammer, anyone should be able to force each plug in quite tight. Finally the material is certainly MDF manufactured but for the price I think the stool is sturdy, nice looking and designed well.

Solved the decorative plug problem.

Definitely something I will keep for a long time. Its nice that it has two levels so me and my little guy can both use it. He uses it as a seat & finds it quite comfy. It's definitely nicer than the cheap plastic step stools & it doesn't take up too much space when you fold in the bottom step. My only issue is the price, it's a little steep for a step stool. If it was $10-$20 cheaper I would give it 5 stars. May be worth it however if it holds up for life & it's something you'll use forever.

Cute & Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The step stool seems very solid, well-built and good-looking. The instructions had no text, just numbered steps and diagrams, but it went together ok, as long as I paid close attention to the diagrams. There were just two negatives:
1. One of the pre-drilled screw holes was slightly off, so I put it together without that one screw and it is still sturdy enough. Being the perfecionist that I am, I'd like to make it right: I can either order a free replacement, or fill and re-drill the hole myself. Haven't decided yet.
2. The parts came well-packaged in a tape-sealed box that said "Do not use a knife to open." So, how did they want me to I open it? I opened it with a knife with no harm caused.
Both fairly minor issues. All in all, I'm very happy with the "Winsome Ascending Step Stool, Walnut Finish"

Very nice step stool, just a few minor issues.

very hard to put together and feels very cheap
