Very interesting learning about Obama's path into politics taking him all the way to the the oval office despite having to deal with prejudice because of his skin color.  I came away with two take a ways. One, prejudice is a live and well in the Government.  Two, some congress members have forgotten that they were elected to serve the citizens and not their major political party contributor.

I have enjoyed reading his newest book. It has shown the intelligence and his overall thought process to the presidency. Very detailed of the intricacies of the election and thought process in politics as well as the dedication needed for the position. While it was dry at times it showed great wit too. Overall it was a great read.

In depth look into the mind and role of Obama

Amazing critical piece of written history. Obama does a rather powerful job of describing in color the parts of our history which were being made as he was in office.

I voted for Mr, Obama, this book exceeded my expectations 2nd time reading, looking forward to the 2nd one to be released

Well written and such a moment of transparency in such a high position in our nation. It's honest, reflective, and humane in a time of such divisions and negativity.

Grace and Authenticity

Reading this book will make you not put it down until done.  recommend for all ages. it is also open for discussions with your students.  Rare as being who he became.

This book was a very good read. it kept me reading it.  Found out a lot about, things we didn't know.  I think these people that gave it 1s,  did not even read it, and trying to have others not read.it.  I am buying more, and giving as gifts.

Good read

The book is all that book reviewers said it was:  well written and personal.  But it took 18 days to get to me.   Perhaps this was because the USPS was overwhelmed with December shipping.  But the shipper was in the same state as I am!

Buy it.

I usually avoid books that are the size of War and Peace but this is worth reading ... And is much more fascinating. Written with humor, what seems to be honesty and a self-deprecating style, it is absorbing and we'll written. I have never read anything by the ever bombastic Trump, but I have read other books about him and found them fascinating but never compelling. This one by former President Obama is just that!

The paper book cover was all torn!  I bought it new for a gift, but it looks like its a used book.  Dissatisfied and disappointed.
