One of the old, faithful, stocking stuffers price has gone up quite a bit, but It's a must have

I bought some of these on Amazon recently.  Had not had any in a decade or two.  The squirrels smelled the chocolate in the box, ate through the large box and STOLE the entire box of Mint thins!  There were at least two thieves, one stayed to eat a mint and the other stole the whole box.  If it was not for a piece of mint box cardboard, i would have thought it was never even delivered.  The squirrels also love smarties and will eat rheough two boxes to get some.  Chocolate is said to be poisonous to squirrels (and especially dogs) but to my knowledge, they survived eating a box of mints.

Don't leave these outdoors

I've been buying these frequently for decades. Lately they taste different - the chocolate covering seems waxy now and less flavourful. I wouldn't buy them again.
