I've had this for 4 months now so figured I would finally leave this review. Strike one- shipping was delayed in their warehouse over two weeks and I didn't find out until after I purchased it and kept checking the tracking. (Can't even blame the carrier for this, but this is the least of my concerns.) Strike two- my husband is a state licensed contractor and extremely handy and knowledgeable with building anything. It took him AND his employee over 3 hours to assemble this. The awning material doesn't even come installed on the rollers. Instructions weren't great. I don't believe the average homeowner could do this project on their own. Strike three- the awning has been kept rolled up for the 3 months its been installed with the exception of the handful of times we've rolled it out while we were using it and then rolled it back up immediately after we were done and the fabric thats exposed to the sun has already faded from a dark blue to a medium blue. In 3 months!!! The pictures in my review are not edited in any way. Now my latest complaint happened today which made me want to write this review. I rolled the shade halfway out and the material just came out of the track so we're going to have take it down and reassemble the fabric on the track. Overall this is the worst purchase I've made from Walmart (and I buy from Walmart a lot.) I'm ready to take it down and throw it away so I don't have to deal with this headache of a purchase.
