You need to be handy to assemble and adjust this awning perfectly. Instructions are good but could use additional clear pictures. One of the 3 large tubes had got damaged during shipping. I had to perform a cold rework on it so it could slide on the connecting block smoothly. 
I struggled a bit also with the remote initialization. The procedure says to unplug the wire for 10 seconds and then go through the button pushing sequence. I had only triggered the circuit breaker thinking it was equivalent to pulling out the plug, but this is what prevented the initialization to go through. Once the right procedure done everything worked fine. Note also that the fabric used seem to me like a very good quality compare to what I had before from another manufacturer. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it for people that have mechanical skills.
