Affordable powerhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic chip from AMD - extremely stable platform and easy to overclock for any enthusiast. A decent amount of power draw, and runs a little warm at idle, but nothing an aftermarket air cooler or AIO can't handle.
Finally upgraded after a 8  year old i5 6600k and the performance gains continue to blow me away. 
Best of all - the AM5 platform on the motherboards means this will be compatible for an upgrade to the 9th generation chip or greater if as long as AMD maintains that socket. Great buy!

Amazing CPU!

I haven't had any issues but for the price. I will buy another one.

However, it came with more issues than I had originally bargained with. For example, XMP has a hard time working on it, and the overall stability of the 7600X seems to be questioned on open forums.
