Powerful hair dryer, good flow !

Retractable cord does not work but I love the hairdryer otherwise.

This is my second Andis fold-and-go. I like it very much, but when this one arrived, the handle was very sticky  and gummy.  I had to use rubbing alcohol to get the substance off. After I rubbed it down with a cloth doused with the rubbing alcohol, it was fine.  Still like the dryer.

I used the hair dryer yesterday. It seemed to work well. Concerned  that through time the retractable cord may stop retracting. I used a similar  dryer at a hotel  that's  what spurred my decision.

Use of the dryet

First used one of these at a Bed %26 Breakfast on vacation.  I thought it was really nice, so I ordered one when I got home.  I used that one for about 2 years before it broke.  Before it stopped working, you could hear rattling inside when you tried to use it, like some little pieces had broken off inside.  Now, this one is already making slight rattling sounds, so I'm not sure how long it is going to last and I may need to return it.  It is very disappointing because it works great.  I have super thick hair that takes a long time to dry, but this works really fast.

It died on me yesterday! Only had it a few months. It won't turn on. Smelled like smoke. Disappointed

Purchased at Christmas for an present and before the end of January the product stopped working.
