My family just got done camping and this cooler was a definite must have! When we went to the lake we brought this every time! It kept our drinks and food cold during this hot summer. A cold one!

I really like the Coleman 16 Quart Excursion Cooler. It's the perfect size for taking drinks and snacks on a day trip or picnic. It's light enough to carry around easily, but it still feels sturdy and well made. The handle is comfortable and makes it simple to grab and go. I was surprised at how long the ice lasted and how well it kept everything cold. It fits nicely in the car without taking up too much space and holds just the right amount. Overall, it's convenient, reliable, and exactly what I was looking for.

The durability of this product is highly commendable and it's so easy to clean without leaving any stains. I like the insulation because it keeps both and cold insulated and its capacity is great. It is also portable to carry around for picnic and not bulky

Coleman Excursion Cooler

I used this cooler for a beach day with my family. It fit 12 cans and ice, and everything stayed cold for about 5 hours in 85°F heat. The handle made it easy to carry, and I wiped it clean in seconds. I wish it had a drainage plug, but otherwise I'm happy.

Great cooler for road trips — light, durable, and

Exactly what I was looking for.  A basic cooler that holds just enough.  Not looking for a cooler to keep ice for a week, just for day trips.

It works for me, but I bought it to replace the Oscar cooler #5274. The picture of the cooler led me to believe it was the same or close to the same dimensions as the Oscar. It is shorter and deeper (width) than expected. It also has less thick walls to provide same insulating results, I fear.
However, access to bottled drinks and my lunch foods is much easier than digging in the old Oscar. My Oscar right at 30 yo!

Some Reservations

Good option for a compact Cooler, fits comfortably in our Coleman cart as it does  it have wheels which can be heavy if packed which is why I'll give a 4 start review. For a small family of 3 it does the job, however is not that easy to clean up as does not have a vent to pour the melted ice or cleaning water, also the door will it stay open unless you hold it so is another issue.

Small and compact but difficult to drain

We bought this cooler my family's lost camping trip and none of the ice was lasting and its constantly leaked. Maybe we just bought a bad one.
