Have been running since high school. I am in my late 60's now. Have worn many brands, but these have been the best all around training or fitness trail running shoes for me. My feet biomechanics do help too.  I run on grass, dirt, asphalt, cement sidewalks, etc. I could not find them in my town and ordered 2 pairs from website. Thank you. I do recommend, but have yourself fitted based on your running style.

Amazing! I have really high arches and these shoes give me the support I need at a reasonable price!!! I have not had plantar fasciitis since I started wearing them.

High arches these will help.

Awesome fit! Don't be fooled by other brands who sell themselves as running shoes. Run the difference with Asics. These shoes are not only stylish but have an amazing feel when running. I'm a light runner, 2-3 miles day, with these shoes my feet don't weigh once I'm done with my run.

These are very nice shoes.  They're comfortable and look good.  This is probably a personal issue, but I have to mention that when walking, my heels have a tendency to lift up slightly from the insole, even though I always snug up my laces tightly.  Otherwise I like them and think they'll last.

GEL-VENTURE 9 - Nice Shoes!

They are ok, I typically buy ASICS because I have a narrow foot and they give me a decent fit. These are a bit wide on my foot. Not necessarily an ASICS problem, I could've sent them back.

Eh, nothing spectacular

I've owned the Venture 7 and 8's previously. The 9's seem like they are made of cheaper materials. The tongue is not wide enough and tends to not cover the entire lace opening without constant adjustment. The stack height seems excessive and makes the shoes feel unstable on hard, flat surfaces. The variety of colors are great.

Not as good as previous models

I have seen this issue with the Asics Gel-Venture 7, 8 and 9 running shoes - a hole develops on in the top of both shoes where the big toe is. The shoes are great for about 4-5 months, but every single pair has developed the hole  - usually on the right side first, but eventually on the left side as well.  Price is great, but i wish that the quality was better.

These are the lowest quality asics I've ever owned, I've been buying asics for over 20 years and I won't ever buy them again. They came with creases all over on them which shows the materials and packaging were not a concern.
