The new Gel-Cumulus 22 (Extra Wide) are amazingly comfortable. I am a large man with wide feet and Asics are about the only thing that fit right. The new look is awesome, and the slight bit of extra color in the  otherwise "black and white" world of extra-wide shoes is very much appreciated. The number one, best feature of this shoe is the cloud-like effect on the bottom of my feet. These shoes provide more than enough cushion for comfort and help guide my feet through their gait keeping my feet, legs, and back in good shape.

About 30 miles into them bow and no problems whatsoever. Took a good 5 miles or so to loosen enough to ‘fit' right and haven't changed since. 
Enjoy these more on hard surface because of their extremely light weight while my Nimbus do better with trail-type running. 

All good - highly recommend for pavement...would go for a more durable bottom for anything ‘off-road' so to speak.

Cumulus 22

After researching shoes for under pronation, I decided to give these a try. This far good decision. They are noticeably lighter and provide more support than another pair from a manufacturer with very thick soles. 

The toe box on these is perfect. Usually I am concerned with too narrow but these are just fine.

Excellent thus far

Outstanding sneaker. I needed something to address my under-pronation. These did the job. Very comfortable. I would highly recommend to those suffering from under-pronation.

Under-pronation solved!!

I'm a big man on a fitness journey. I've already lost a fair amount of weight and I decided to get a good pair of Asics for once. These have really helped me go on longer runs my feet don't hurt anymore after the first couple miles. Been completely worth the money for me.

Impressing Me So Far

Great shoes! Generous cushioning while still allowing for free foot movement. I also love the looks. You can't go wrong with these!

Generous Cushioning

Good shoe for those with a wider foot than the normal D width. Even though the size states “2E” the shoe is still comfortably snug enough. Ie: not sloppy

For the wider foot

As a foot doctor , I can say this sneaker is an excellent option for people who have a neutral arch or may be overweight and tend to wear out the outside part of their sneaker first. People with low arches or "flat feet" do well in the gel kayano.

New Jersey Foot doctor approved!

Great fit. I own both the 21 and the 20th version of this shoe and I decided to go with a size 12 while my other Asics are 11.5. I am glad I did. However, there seems to be less cushioning (I am 6ft tall, 175 lbs) and the shoe laces are so short that one can barely use the extra eyelet to prevent any heel slippage. Will see how long the soles last (the soles of the other pairs barely made it over 350 miles).

Great with a few caveats....

I have worn ASICS for over 30 years and love the quality and comfort but this shoe is a big disappointment, They run small and feel hard,
