At 65 years old, I have found that all of the shoes that used to be so comfortable didn't work anymore. They would leave a blister or I could only walk a block and want to turn around. I spent more for these shoes than any I have ever purchased, but they were worth it. I can tie them easily and my ankle doesn't slip and my feet don't hurt while I'm walking. It will be awhile before I start running, but that's my goal.

Finally!  It is feeling more like the old nimbus!  The last 2 models were horrible, it felt like i was running barefoot on concrete. These are much much better! Thank you!!!

Almost perfect again!

These are nice shoes! As an avid 10 year gel Nimbus fan though, they are less "gel" than other editions. I do appreciate the more lightweight material of the upper and wide base. If I had no other gel nimbus' to compare to, I would have gave 5 stars. I would buy these again. But now they are just nice running shoes and not the WOW gel feeling.

Good enough.

I love my GEL-Numbus 22. It's the only shoe I can run comfortably without flaring foot and heal pain. I love them so much I've had 3 pairs in 1.5 years. And that's the problem. The perfect shoe wears out quickly. Holes in the uppers appear within months. I don't run marathons or on trails. I just jog around the neighborhood so it's not me, it's the shoe. I don't want to breakup but the relationship is on it's last legs. Sometimes you gotta love something so much you set it free. Bye GEL-Numbus 22. It was good while it lasted.

I really wish I could give 5 stars.

Sizes seem not to be relied on. Ordered same size in ASICS I was wearing in nimbus-19 and the 22 was a 1/2 inch too long. Sent back. Also I noticed depth of cushioning no where what it used to be. Just another example of cheapening quality, yet raising price. So sad...

Hugh disappointment.

I am very disappointed in them. I went for two walks and the shoes hurt my feet. I called to ask about a return and was told ASICS wouldn't return worn shoes. How would I know if the shoes were good without wearing them?  Incredibly dissatisfied and will NEVER give ASICS my business again

Not comfortable to actually go for walk in

I enjoyed Gel Nimbus 21 a lot but I am very disappointed with Gel Nimbus 22 that I ordered on line. The laces are shorter so it's impossible to attach them the normal way, and the tongue is narrower which creates friction on the foot. I compared both pairs and I can visually see the difference. Very disappointing.

Very disappointing

I've been running in the nimbus for 10 years now,and you went and changed the toe area.There's too much room at the front of the shoe.I'm so disappointed.I  want the rubber around the the toe again.Did you do this to all the styles of Asics?If so I'm going to have to find another vendor.

gel nimbus disappointment

Love the colorvif the shoes but after 2 weeks of running in these i have blisters on both if my heals from wearing these. This was my first time trying gel-nimbus abd this will be my last!!!!

Great color poor shoe

This shoe was a complete disappointment. I previously owned the same exact shoe in a different color and these are made completely different. They are stiff, not supportive and have minimal cushioning.
