I bought these shoes the day they were released. I have been wearing Nimbus for over 6 years and the last 2 releases were snug in the toes. The Nimbus 20 is greatly improved. They are so comfortable -  wider in the toe and it seems they are a little higher in the back of the shoe.  My foot stays in the shoe better while doing lunges. This shoe is a definite YES.

The long wait for Nimbus 20 was well worth it!

I'm a huge fan of ASICS. Been buying multi pairs of 16, 17 and 18. I never purchased the 19 due to really negative sizing reviews. I've only had my 20 for a few days and just getting used to the completely different feel compared to my adored 18. So too early to really judge, but so far they seem much lighter than the 18 but also much stiffer. I bought the pink and they are gorgeous!! So far so good. 

Gorgeous color

Good shoe. More room in the toe box than the 19, but disappointed that this one seems to have less footbed cushion. Will wear for a day to day shoe, but not for running/training/impact. Ordering a pair of 19's while they are still available for the fantastic cushion. Please bring back the footbed cushion in future versions.

Less Cushion Than Version 19

I had one of the nimbus 17 two years ago and they feel so comfortable that I decided to buy this nimbus 20 one month ago but it disappointed me. It's just a normal running shoes without any special feel on my foot or any other surprises like when I got my nimbus 17. It's okay.

The gel-nimbus 20 is acceptable compared to the gel-nimbus19, but not as comfortable and wide as the 18. I've been a loyal Asics customer for years, but with recent changes, I'm concerned that I will have to look elsewhere. I know that others have expressed similar comments, but the nimbus 20 does not compare to the 18. As others have pleaded to bring back the 18 without success, I strongly urge Asics to listen to their loyal customers and reassess. Please bring back the design and fit of the gel-nimbus 18. I can't imagine that that is not feasible, especially considering customers commitment to the brand. Please reconsider.

Huge fan, but bring back gel-nimbus 18

I love my ASICS. I've been running in my pair of Nimbus 18 for way to long. Needed to re-up. It seems like these are shorter and have a bunch more cushion around the heel, which pushed my toes up in the shoe. I'm making them work, but definitely not as good.

Still not as good as Nimbus 18

ran 350 miles on these shoes.  Laces broke 3x and the sole was worn through.   Finally felt comfy by the end of their life though.  
on a good note, Asics warranty covered a replacement pair.  Now I am struggling with sore joints and knees because the shoes are too stiff out of the box :(   not sure if I'd buy these again.

stiff shoe but doesn't last

I'm torn I only rated these shoes 3 stars because I bought them about a month ago and they are ALREADY ripping. This truly is a great pair of shoes for running and comfort wise they are great. For the amount of money I paid for these shoes I expect more. Im a runner and I only wear ASICS but I was super disappointed in the quality. I've never had a pair start to rip like this especially in the first month after I've barely worn them.

Great Shoe, Poor Quality

I have noticed the last 2 pair of gel nimbus I have bought have not been as comfortable as in the past ,and I have sworn by these for a long time wouldn't buy anything else,I tried a pair of  kinsie in between my last 2 pairs of nimbus wasn't thrilled with them either have you changed something in the nimbus??? Are there a pair that are more comfortable than them that I should possibly try before I start on a hunt ?

Not the same

I was super excited when I heard that Asics had widened the toe box on the Nimbus 20. Unfortunately, it's still not wide enough and I don't have wide feet. Asics were my go to running shoe for years. However, I've had to switch brands due to the narrow toe box over the past few years.
