The performance and features are excellent.
 With the help of YouTube videos on setting it up and a better understanding of the AIMesh router versus AIMesh Node, I was able to first update the router aimesh firmware and then the rest was easy. ASUS setup instructions are good for those with experience bu for those of us who are novices.... it was a challenge initially.

I had been reasonably satisfied with the RT AC5300 that I've owned for several years.  As there were a couple of dead/low signal areas in our home I decided to add this model as an aiMesh node.   I lost track of how many times I worked through all the steps to get this node functional. I even watched a plethora of YouTube videos.  I had given up hope of making this unit work as a Mesh node and had started to look for alternatives.  It was at this point that my wife suggested that I try one more time.  Reluctantly, I tried one last time and to my surprise it worked.
