This is the second high end ASUS router I have purchased.  Replacing the one I bought 5 years ago.  Not the cheapest but in my experience the best consumer router.  As a networking professional I have worked with many enterprise and consumer routers and firewalls.  This router give me many of the functions I only find on enterprise equipment and is easy enough to use that it does not take a professional to configure.  I currently have it as the master of my AIMesh network.  I like the WIFI 6 support that I replaced my two other ASUS WIFI 5 nodes with a single midrange ASUS WIFI 6 router.  I have 75+ nodes on my home network with most being wireless and the two WIFI 6 routers preform much better than the three I had before.

Excellent router! I bought this router to create a mesh network with the RT-AX92u routers I purchased previously. Even though the RT-AX92u is a great router on its own, I do notice a difference in the new router's capabilities moving from the 1.8 GHz dual core in the RT-AX92u to the 1.8 GHz quad core processor in the AX11000. Plus, the AX11000 has a multigig 2.5 GBps port at the back so I can take advantage of the higher speeds offered by my ISP. Recommended!

Everything you need in a modern gaming Router!

This is the best router I have ever owned...  The router is very advanced IMO, but setup was actually not hard to figure out...
Here is a breakdown on what I think about this router - 
Router App - The online app for this router is far more advanced than any I've seen with past routers from a different maker...  You have complete control over everything you can think of, and then some...  It is feature rich allowing the owner to customize the router to meet their individual needs...
Performance - I have a Cox Gigablast internet plan that for the first time I am able to realize the full potential of...  
According to 'Speedtest by Ookla' I can get between 800-900 Mbps download speeds consistently when not connected to my VPN...
With my VPN connected speeds are slightly slower in the 500-600 Mbps download speed...    
Range - I'm very impressed by the range of this router...  I can stay connected to WiFi from my neighbors yard in excess of 75 feet away through the walls of my home on the 2.4Ghz channel...
Final Thoughts - I am really impressed with this router...  The online app. is feature rich allowing the owner complete control and the ability to customize the router to suit their needs...  Both of my adult kids love this router for all of their online gaming...  
I would gladly recommend this router for gaming or anything else for that matter...

An Amazing Router

Excellent router, I had Linksys-EA9500 as main router and TP-Link Archer C5400, removed both and using the GT-AX11000. Very happy with the products and features.

Excellent

Great product with all the options you need to fully control your router. It is as complex as you want and simple to the basic
router newbie. One side note why I did not give 5 stars if that on some occasion the internet connection get lost, it is
to do with the service from Assus that required ping their own networks which will appear as if you most your ISP which is not true.  Firmware should be upgrade to help identify and root cause why the router red lite  internet is on to understand where the problem is.

ASUS router IPv6 GT-AX11000

Only had for 2 days but so far very happy with my purchase. It is a fairly big router but not as bad as I thought after setting it up. I personally like the look of it. Setup was really fast and easy, plus you have 2 options to do this. You can setup using internet or by an app on your phone. I used the app on my phone and was impressed on how easy it was. You have lots of options and customization for the router. Performance with speeds and coverage so far has been excellent. Using in a 2 level house that's approximately 3100sq. ft. and 20+ devices connected.

Excellent performance and easy setup

Pretty good but experiencing drop outs as some client devices seem to have trouble maintaining a connection and had to add in a pair of XT8 to get better coverage around the house. App for installation and adding in the XT8s was very easy. Need to experiment with the modes and might need to change the way it works in tandem with the T3200m modem/router.

Good router, some teething issues

I purchased this router to improve my wifi coverage in my house I did lots of research and everyone said this is a good and one of the best router's out there but  after setting this up I have not noticed any difference Wi-Fi coverage is still crappy and every time I still need to reboot at least once every week for me it's not working out as I figured it should

Rog  Rapture

Works well how ever the connection to my cable modem just stops working. Modem works no issues have factory reset 2 times hoping this resolves issue firmware is up to date and signature as well.

WAN port failed after 14 months.  No power surge of any kind occurred.  Out of warranty. Out the premium $$$ for this router.  It performed really good up to that point.  It's really too bad, Asus carries a good name but after this, pretty hard to buy another
