Top quality power supply that I purchased with forward thinking for future needs. I started with an NVIDIA 4060 so this was overkill. In a year I added (replaced) the 4060 with an ASUS 4070 Super.  Now I am waiting on a ASUS 5080 that will properly need the power from this power supply.  The power supply has performed flawlessly and is VERY quiet when set to minimal fan setting.  I really like ASUS equipment.

Great modular PSU. Very happy with this. Currently powering an ASUS ROG Crosshair Dark Hero, Ryzen 7 5900X, 64gb of DDR4 3600 CL-16, and an RTX 3080ti. 

Thinking about making the purchase for an ROG Strix RTX 4080....just hard to shell out 1500 for a GPU but.....hey....its a world above my 3080 ti.

Good PSU for the money.

I have used ASUS products for many years and the quality is always excellent, this power supply is no exception. It looks great and performs even better. Plenty of power for my new build and i love the modular feature, no more trying to hide cables you dont need.

As with any Asus product it's well constructed and neat finish. Love the plug in cables which helps with case wiring, but you only get 2 sets of SATA power connectors plus 2 sets of Molex power.connectors. Could have done with 2 extra sets of SATA power cables instead of Molex for present day HDD's. Couldn't find any suppliers to buy extra Asus SATA power cables, so resorted to buying Y cables instead. As i bought more power than needed don't ever expect to stress this unit and love the switch selection for "quiet" fan operation

Reliable clean power! Nice aesthetics, looks great in my case. I do wish that the switch for the silent fan control was on the opposite side from the main power switch!

ROG STRIX 850G PSU Worth Every Penny

This is a superb high quality PSU, as you would expect from a leading brand like ASUS. I wanted to keep my new build PC ROG themed and needed 850 watts so this was perfect. It is easy to install due to the modular cables and performs perfectly.

ROG Strix 850G Excellent PSU

READ EVERY SPECS BEFORE PURCHASING THIS ITEM.
It is posted as color "ASUS ROG **WHITE** STRIX 850W" on the picture but if you read the specs it says it is color "Black".
Now I need to do this hassle return for this wrong item listed here and waiting for the replacement(not sure if they have the color that I really need in stock) for 48hrs.

I order this particular PSU mainly because it is one of the few white PSU on the market. I needed a white color to go with my all white custom build. 

The photo that is shown is white. The description says white. All indicators point towards a white PSU. So imgine my surprise when a standard black PSU arrived instead. Now I have to go through an unexpected process of return, relocating the color I need, and another wait time to get it.

Outside of the misleading advertisement, the   PSU came with all cables and original packaging.

Also, in case you are wondering. The PSU has a Cali Pro 65 warning label.
