A GAMING BEAST

Bought this laptop through a Big Box retailer to upgrade my gaming setup. Since the combo of an all AMD specs was new to me, I was curious how performance would be. I've got to say, I'm blown away! The laptop is FAST FAST FAST and the efficiency of the AMD chip and Video card means that battery life is so much better than competitors. It's a win-win.

Great machine

ROG laptops have a big big problem, based on my own experience  and a friend of mine, They do not wake up from sleep mode, at least several  times  a day. You need to force restart the device  by pushing  on/off button each time this happens.  Besides  damges that this can cause, imagine all of your unsaved work will be gone every time.

Warning: ROG  does Not wake up from sleep mode.

I was sold on this laptop by a sales person at a local retail outlet. I bought this laptop brand new out of the box. When I bought it, I did not anticipate the problems it would come with. Every, single, component in this laptop is cheaply made. The fans were overheating upon turning the the laptop on. The USB C ports were making a clicking noise when I plugged in my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The speakers would crackle when ever audio tried playing through the sound card, that couldn't even play sounds above 2000 HZ (about the same frequency range as a human sh to s would make) and yes I tested this with audacity. The bundled antivirus software (MCKafee) was preventing me from installing any kind of game. The battery was dead on arrival and had a very low charge capacity. Windows would not save my installed programs or settings when the computer restarted, like the wifi name and password. The keyboard did not have any keys that worked on it apart from letters and numbers. For example, pressing alt, control delete to restart the computer, wouldn't work. There was no working f keys and function did absolutely nothing.
