The extra flatness allows for better contact with the die for improved thermal transfer.</li><li><b>2.7-slot design</b><br />The heat spreader draws heat up into heatpipes that carry it through a fin stack that fills most of the card&apos;s large, 2.7-slot footprint.</li><li><b>Fresh shroud</b><br />In addition to under-the-hood design changes, the ROG Strix features a face with metal accents that mirror the design aesthetic of ROG and ROG Strix motherboards. Textured accents in a greyscale colorway blend seamlessly into subtle builds or make a striking impact while the card is vertically mounted and lit by chassis LEDs.</li><li><b>It&apos;s cooler out back</b><br />Flipping the card around reveals more design improvements. For enhanced heat dissipation, a wide backplate vent and shortened PCB allow hot air to escape towards chassis exhaust fans instead of being recycled back into the cooler. The I/O bracket is made from stainless steel to protect ports and provide a more secure mount. A conveniently placed Dual BIOS switch allows quick selection between &quot;performance&quot; and &quot;quiet&quot; mode for basic customization of the card&apos;s default behavior without software. To top it off, an ROG logo with addressable RGB backlighting adds flair.</li><li><b>Functional front</b><br />To fulfill the power demands of the GeForce RTX 3050, an 8-pin power connector is present, along with an onboard circuit that monitors PSU rail voltage. The circuit is fast enough to catch any transients that result in the rail voltage dropping too low. If that happens, a red LED will light up to indicate a power supply issue.</li></ul></body>

I finally upgraded after my 1060 died and the improvement is out of this world. Nothing has ever looked this sharp and clear and the fact that I can go from low settings on WOW and Minecraft to max settings is fantastic.

Would've loved to get the 3070/3080ti's but those are hard to come by (without paying rediculous prices via scalpers) but the 3050 does the job well enough for the time being.  I like it, it runs as it should, a big change from my ROG Strix 1080.

Would've liked the other GPU's, but liked it.

Premium performance with Asus quality makes  this card perfect entry level for most games.
Runs fast and cool, thanks to extra fan.It fills up the case for those liking to display their  components.

Great gpu' easy OC with MSI Afterburner,200 and 300 hunderd fps in FarCry 4, Gpu's Rgb and overall Looks are great Lovin it!

More powerful than a normal 3050 and exceeded my expectations for the lowest end graphics card from nvidia.

Entry level high end card

Awesome Video Card , Better that my original video card

Video Card

I recently sold my GTX 1660 to upgrade to this GPU and the difference is night and day. The RTX 3050 is a massive card, double the size of the capable GTX 1660 from Zotac Gaming. With the addressable RGB built into the GPU, it is a worthy showpiece for RGB heavy cases and builds. I will have to invest into ROG STRIX components.

An Affordable GPU That Packs A Punch

While it is a budget card that is disappointing on specs comparisons, it still works very well. I came from a GTX 1050 and now enjoy my favorite AAA Games at High Settings at 120 FPS. The DLSS is very good when you want to play on Ultra settings or with RTX. RTX is also great, it brings a new perspective to games.
