I work in IT for a Hospital organization.  I spend 10 hours a day assisting others. I have gone through 6 other headsets and this one is the best one that I have had. With the other ones people were hard to hear through them or couldn't hear them at all. The sound quality that comes through these are great. They are also comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

I have owned the Strix true 7.1 and even the Razer Tiamat 7.1 v2 and a couple of other true 5.1 sets and These are the best so far in the true 7.1 sets. The only thing I see that could use a little work is the wires are a little too stiff and will take a little while to get more easy to handle. They do fit good around the ears and sound really good but they work the best if used with a new Asus main board so you can have more adjustment with the sonic software. These headsets are for people that enjoy video and music that is recorded in a 7.1 format not just normal stereo and games with THX or DTS format. If you are just like normal game sounds or plain stereo music then I would go with a cheaper wireless set that will sound good too.

It only gets better from Asus

These headphones are on the level of Bose and Sony in audio quality: clean, crisp, defined highs and medium bass. These have the same audio codec that comes built-in on higher end motherboards. Armoury Crate software is garbage though, I use them with just windows drivers. They are heavy, I would not use these for 3-4 hour gaming sessions or just take breaks every hour. Temperatures are decent, ears stay warm, but not extremely hot. There are better options in this price range, but these are very good if you are looking to combine very good music quality and good gaming audio.

Amazing headset!! Not the best for music, but amazing for movies and gaming! The control panel is easy to use and has a vast amount of settings for the headset. They are a bit heavy but I have used them for hours of gaming without getting uncomfortable! I highly reccomend for gaming or movies!!

Amazing headset!!!

This is perfect, the sound is perfect, size is perfect just because my ears are inside of the ear cap and the headset stays cold trough out my gaming, I can game for hours and never take it off, the old Strix 7.1 has more base hands down there but this one has better Dolby sound effects and stereo ...Like I said music with this is a dream but for films the base is not there you need to adjust it to get what you want

Best for Games and Music

Comfortable, great sound, while corded it becomes less noticeable overtime. One con is it may get slightly warm on the ears, but not heavy or fatiguing. Overall features sound detail to quality make this an excellent choice.

Comfortable Gaming and Sound.

They a great s my second pair in 3 years only had to replace as the headset I had wouldn't turn the mic on .apart from that they are good quality and great sound

Second pair

Waited with anticipation for these beauties and was not disappointed - well, not too much! The most important thing with headphones has to be, "What do they sound like" and these are impressive without fault. Awesome 7.1 surround sound that picks up every drop of sound in game. Would have liked better control of dropping game sounds to Discord but I can live with that. Only reason these don't get 5*'s is the cable control and the shortness of the drop of the cables under your chin. Don't take these off quickly or it could take your head with them!

At last available in the UK

Excellent sound true 7.1 surround with crystal clear voice and background effects. 
The cord not too good, this headset is really expensive to have the cord as a cont when the majority of the headset in the market are wireless.

The killing cord

The headset looked amazing and felt amazing. The sound was not the best thing and especially for the price I was not a fan. I tried the asus presets, my own custom, looked up settings, nothing sounded good on these head phones. I'm a huge ASUS ROG fan and pretty biased when it comes to any products they have but these just were not their best work. I did return them and go back to my Logitech G936
