Ease Of Setup

Perfect router for upper floor

I am very satisfied with this product. My Quest VR and cameras are staying connected
with a strong and stable signal.

Fast and stable signal

The product works and downloads are about 10% faster than my old device. The instructions about setting up an Asus account and a router login account were a bit confusing. These are both separate from a wifi login password, so three passwords required to be fully functional. The app works okay but is better viewed on a larger screen. It does more than most of us a need but being able to set up a separate guest login with restrictions (e.g., download speeds and temporal limitations) could be useful. This router was also about 25% cheaper than the one I tried previously which drove me nuts.

Very good router after 2 weeks of use.

I had a bit of an issue with updating the firmware at first but once I completed the manual update it works amazing.  I have two that are setup with the AIMesh network and both have performed perfectly.  I love how I can set the children's devices to disconnect from the internet during downtimes.

Nice router. Had a bit of issues updating firmware on AIMesh nodes. Also Mesh is sometimes switching the networks 2.4/5 Ghz on the client devices... Otherwise it all works fine.

So far I'm finding the app very clunky. Almost every day I have had to reset the router to get the app to connect properly. I've done two days of trouble shooting. I'm hoping it will be better moving forward but I'm doubtful.

App doesn't work well

WiFi range blocked by new construction walls, those metals, lighter but crap for Wi-Fi ranges, it cut ranges more than 50%, crazy

Would rate 5 but new building's walls are tuff
