So far we are very pleased with this unit. Setup was easy. Performance is excellent.

Upgraded from AC and ended dropped connections with extender and doubled internet speed.

Great product

Streamlee happy with this product no issues whatsoever works excellent with star link that's only if you have the first generation so far I have not tested it with the new starlink. This is running on the round version.
Since the square version uses a Praia Terry connector I have not tested it with that yet.    Setting up the mesh is extremely easy.

This replaced my wifi 5 from Asus.  I had that one for 8 years.  We are not gamers or users of many talk to devices, but this is set up for that. I did not have room on my small desk, so I hung it on the wall. There is enough wire to elevate it four feet above the ground.  I like that it came with Trend Micro malware protection also.  We have a single level house.  I can use my tablet outside with no problem.
I am sure it has at least a 60 foot range.

The Best Routers from a Great Company

Had no trouble setting up two RT-AX55s in an AImesh and they've been performing great for the past two weeks. No more dropouts when moving between floors of our split level. All the stationary devices finally have a good signal.

I have problems with my password as even though the correct password is entered. It keeps saying its the wrong password.

ASUS rating

Extremely difficult to set up for those internet users without a smartphone. Took me a few hours to get everything back on line including my Google minis and Echo Shows. I previously had a NetGear 1200 which was child's play in comparison as it automatically adjusted everything so literally was plug and play.  Once I had everything up and running again it has given me a little more speed with less lag.  This is important as I live in a rural area on the only internet plan available in the area which is wireless with a mind blowing maximum 10mbps, yes 10mbps, and upload of 1mbps. I used to get 6.5mbps download and now get my maximum 10mbps so an improvement.

Mixed feelings about the review

In a mesh setup…needs reboot often.  Wifi speeds on IPhone 13 are 475 to 550 MBPS

Not stable

Instructions far too complex. Unable to set it up properly. Phone help next to useless. Returning the router
